The passion-based approach to learning develops curiosity, innovative thinking, confidence building, independence, leadership and a love for learning. It allows students to take ownership, and thrive in an area they are passionate about. We believe that children and young people thrive when choosing their chosen subject. Many young people can find it difficult to learn about topics that are uninteresting to them, which can often cause overwhelm. Although some subjects are essential, and routine is important, we allow time and space for them to develop their own interests. Finding a child or young person’s niche is what makes them eager to learn. If we promote passion-based learning our young people would become experts in a field they are passionate about. By providing time and space to develop their knowledge and understanding of their chosen subject.
